Toxic epidermal necrolysis in an elderly patient with comorbid pathology: A case report
Abstract. This article presents a clinical case of toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell’s syndrome) in female elderly patient with comorbidity that developed as a result of the use of an antibacterial drug. The complexity of diagnosing toxic epidermal necrolysis at the onset of the disease in outpatient practice is demonstrated. The aim of the article is to draw the attention of outpatient physicians to the timely diagnosis and referral of patients with Lyell’s syndrome.E.Yu. Esina, I.S. Dobrynina, E.A. Khanina, A.A.
