Clinical case of Crohn’s disease combined with spondyloarthritis
Abstract. The article presents a clinical observation of a patient with combined clinical course of Crohn’s disease and ankylosing spondylitis – chronic inflammatory diseases from the group of immune-inflammatory pathologies. Despite their different clinical focuses – gastrointestinal in case of Crohn’s disease and musculoskeletal in spondylitis – these diseases share common pathogenetic mechanisms. However, their coexistence in the same patient is rare and is of particular interest both from a diagnostic and therapeutic perspective.
